Two to ten parties
In any order or in sequence, with an optional sign-by date. One recipient for receipt. Parties may decline; the sender may withdraw until the last signature.
In testing, open by invitation
Between account holders, and with people who have never signed in. The file — a PDF, an image or any other kind — is fingerprinted and sealed in your browser, so no server of ours can read it.
Free, and still being tested: not yet for a work contract or anything else whose signature must hold up legally. Nothing signed here is a qualified electronic signature.
What it does
In any order or in sequence, with an optional sign-by date. One recipient for receipt. Parties may decline; the sender may withdraw until the last signature.
Typed, drawn, an uploaded image or the name alone, placed where they choose on a PDF, and on the signature page of any other file, which signing never changes.
A signed agreement is never edited: its sender starts a correction, the same people sign it, and the earlier one closes as replaced, each linking to the other.
Invited by a link the sender hands over themselves. The document key is in the link after the #, which no server ever sees.
Every step — sent, opened, signed, declined — is signed on the device of whoever took it, timed by our server and chained to the one before. The signature page prints the whole trail, and so does the record Valnivo Sign seals with its own key once everybody has signed. Every party is e-mailed after each step, never with the content.
Open in Valnivo Sign, in Valnivo, passes a PDF to this site in the browser.
How it keeps the document private
The file is read, fingerprinted and sealed in the browser with a key made for that document, and the key is wrapped for each party. What the parties sign is the file’s fingerprint, never the file. Each step is an entry signed on the actor’s device, in a hash chain.
Proofs anybody can check
A signed PDF carries its proof; any other file is checked with its signature page. Check a file here, on valnivo.eu or offline with @valnivo_labs/verify. Once everybody has signed, Valnivo Sign issues a completion statement with its key sign-1, and a record page that prints the full audit trail — every step, its server time, who took it and its hash — sealed with the same key.
A PDF signed in another application can be dropped there too: it shows whether the file changed after signing and what the signer’s certificate says. Whether that certificate is trusted is not checked.
Only the addresses on its access list can send a document; anybody invited to one can open and sign it. Free.
Valnivo Sign is still being tested. Do not rely on it yet for a work contract, a lease or anything else whose signature must hold up legally; no legal standing is claimed for what is signed here.
